The tragic murder of correctional officer Andrew Lansing in December 2024 sparked a movement towards legislative change, culminating in the introduction of Andy’s Law. The bill was introduced by Ohio Rep. Mark Johnson, a Republican from Chillicothe (District 92). Johnson and Darren Price (Chairperson of Andy’s Law Coalition) joined me for an indepth discussion on the need for prison reform in Ohio.
