Questions remain unanswered in the death of Kyneddi Miller, a 14-year-old who authorities say died from suspected child neglect at her home in Boone County, WV. Reportedly there were at least two calls to CPS and another report from WV State Police about Kyneddi, but Gov. Jim Justice claims CPS had “no idea whatsoever” about her. His Chief of Staff Brian Abraham reportedly yelled at and tried to ban certain reporters from the Capitol over their investigation into the matter. Today’s guest, State Senator Mike Stuart (R-7th) believes the Legislature should invsestigate the internal workings of West Virginia’s Child Protective Services. He says there has been “repeated lack of transparency” from the system.
