David Riedel was recently named the NFHS Officials Association West Virginia Official of the Year. He worked with local lawmakers to pass a bill that would increase penalties assaulting an official. The bill passed both chambers, but Gov. Morrisey vetoed the bill. David talks about that and gives perspective on biological boys competing in girls athletics.
