The State of West Virginia has a law that says biological boys can’t compete with girls in sports. The “Save Our Women’s Sports Act” is currently on hold after an injunction by the 4th Circuit Court. Last year, Defending Education filed an amicus brief in the WV case, urging the Court to reverse a Fourth Circuit ruling that forces schools to allow biological males in girls’ sports, contrary to Title IX’s original intent to expand athletic opportunities for women. Sarah Parshall Perry, Vice President and Legal Fellow for Defending Education, is my guest on today’s show.
