The American Israel Public Affairs Committee, a powerful lobbying group widely known as AIPAC, spent approximately $126.9 million during the last election cycle. AIPAC supported 152 Democratic candidates with a total of $28 million in direct contributions. They supported 233 Republican candidates with a total of $17 million in direct contributions.
